Todd PriestTodd Priest, Vice President of CP&A, joined the firm in 2007. He formerly served as Vice President of the Orange County Business Council as well as Vice President of the Building Industry Association of Southern California, a regional trade association which operates in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura and Imperial Counties. Mr. Priest has a strong background in government and public affairs. He has helped lead several of southern California’s most influential business and trade associations, including the California Grocers Association, the Building Industry Association of Southern California, the Apartment Association of Orange County, and the Long Beach Association of Realtors. In addition, Mr. Priest has managed several Political Action Committees. Mr. Priest has proven to be an invaluable component of CP&A’s comprehensive approach to client service, bringing his talents and abilities to bear on behalf of a wide variety of CP&A clients, from assisting statewide trade association to working with clients at the city and county level. Mr. Priest has an extensive background and knowledge working with regional government. He has been an active participant for many years at the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), and currently serves as a public-member on their Benchmark Task Force. He also serves a member of the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s (AQMD) Local Government and Small Business Advisory Committee. With years of experience at the AQMD, he is often called upon to assist businesses and organizations with complex issues dealing with Southern California Air Quality Management Plan. In his nearly 15 years of experience, Mr. Priest has been involved in major infrastructure projects such as transportation, water, housing, and energy generation and conveyance. He is frequently called upon to lead business delegations to Sacramento and Washington D.C., where he is responsible for issue briefings and advocacy. Mr. Priest has been a featured speaker on government and political affairs issues for the California Society of Association Executives and the National Association of Home Builders.
